Join Us for the 2026 Charles Ogletree Public Forum Series
On Wednesday, August 5, the Union Chapel Educational & Cultural Institute (UCECI) will launch the 2026 Charles Ogletree Public Forum Series, bringing together nationally recognized voices to examine the issues shaping our democracy, our communities, and our future.
Held at various venues throughout Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard, the series honors the extraordinary legacy of Professor Charles J. Ogletree, Jr.—renowned attorney, legal scholar, educator, and advocate for justice. Throughout his career, Professor Ogletree challenged generations of leaders to think critically, engage courageously, and use the law as a tool for positive social change. This annual forum series continues that mission by creating spaces where ideas are exchanged, perspectives are broadened, and meaningful dialogue takes center stage.
All events are free and open to the public.
